Aye well they've been in touch to say that Diamondback are looking for a new rider to join their 'grass roots' team. The winner will receive their top of the range BMX, loads of other kit and their entry fee's to comps paid and may also be used in new promotional material including posters. Pretty good if your down with DB, to be honest they havent released anything thats wow'd us all in the last decade but you never know they may make the comeback like Odyssey did?

Hubbuddy 2.0 So Last year we launched our hubguard, the hub buddy, over the last few months we have been working on a lighter version and we just received samples for testing. They came out at 91 grams (3.2 oz) which we are really happy with. There is quite a few changers to this from O.G hub buddy the biggest being the new shape, this will push whatever you are grinding towards the peg and for riders who do not run pegs the small flat section should give a little more to grind on. If all goes well these will be out before Christmas. Now it is time to let the team test 'em

Padded Cell are having money problems and are having to close down their operations. This is not good news (apart from for Seventies and 4down) as it means less competition amongst distributors and more monopolising of the market. Which could ultimately lead to more expensive bike parts? In the short term the companies distro'd by Padded Cell will have to find a new distro and fast. The race is on between Seventies and 4down as the distro rights to Odyssey is surely a very very valuable contract...

What are Etnies playing at? The video came out ages ago in the US yet we're still having to wait... It's now online in several places as I'm sure most of you are probably aware so the vast majority of people will just end up watching it online and not paying for it. Are they just saying that they want everyone in the UK to just watch it online because they can't be arsed to make it available here? RARGHHHH
