The Thinking Man's How To - Homemade Steadicam

Welcome to the second edition of PG Tips, the thinking man's how to.  This week class is in session in the workshop, not on the streets (my left pinky finger has been touched persistently by Jez Beadle's hand this past week).  Due to this injury I can't learn you how to do a trick, so I'll be LEARNING YOU GOOD how to make a homemade steadicam using only a few bike bits, scrap metal and a few tools.

Hell Is For Heros... Album Review

HIFH are one of my all time favourite bands, who i got into when I first discovered Hundred Reasons. They’re a post hardcore band from London and have been kind of under the radar since the phenomenal success of their first album ‘The neon handshake’. They changed labels for album number two, ‘Transmit disrupt’ but it wasn’t promoted correctly and the label wasn’t prioritising them enough, so a quick label switch and they re-released ‘Transmit Disrupt’ and got the praise they deserved. However it just couldn’t match the success of the first album and they kind of disappeared for a year or two.

Stephen Murray

Check this video out about Stephen Murray made by the guys at NBC Sports in the America.

Its the first time I have really watched anything about Stephen in a while. I've been watching the sites for news and reading the magazines but this video gives me a different kinda hope that everything is getting better.

Aversion BMX

The first time I heard of Aversion was when I saw the "Pull Shapes" video up on the internet because of a post on the sp message board. It was the funniest thing I had seen in a long time where two guys, Sam and Timmy, decide to go balls out literally at their trails.

Along with the naked antics Aversion have a lot more to offer in the way of videos, blog and a line of clothes which are not bad either. They have a wicked team and the mini videos up there area treat on a dark winters night. Check the whole site out at http://www.aversionbmx.co.uk and if you want to get hold of their clothes streetphire will be stocking them soon too!

Odyssey Electronical trailer

Is it me or are people finally stepping up their game in the BMX video world? HD seems to be the new standard thats creeping in amongst the videographers involved in BMX. Here is Odyssey's trailer for Electronical featuring riding from over 15 people including Aaron Ross, Mike Aitken, Gary Young, KC Badger, Chase Hawk, Matt Beringer and more...

Oh and you can download the HD version which is way better quality than this at the electronical site http://www.odysseyelectronical.com

Dave Sowerby edit, BSD
Filmed by Tom Burns aka Tom-Tall on streetphire and edited by Dave himself they put together this great video for the guys at BSD. Scotland has some amazing spots and their scene is tight, exactly how it should be from what i've experienced.
